AB+DM is the award winning American fashion photography duo made up of by Ahmad Barber and Donté Maurice. 

Since forming their creative bond, Ahmad Barber and Donté Maurice have developed a creative world that gives an endearing approach to fashion and portraiture through color and texture. 

Working Between Atlanta, New york and los Angeles; Together, the duo have created renowned images for leading fashion and lifestyle publications and has captured definitive imagery of key figures in fashion, film, celebrity, and culture from Zendaya, Viola Davis, Lady Gaga, Glenn Powell, J-Balvin, Anne Hathaway, michael b jordan, Cardi B, Simone Biles, and ryan coogler.

Through their partnership, AB+DM has managed to foster in-depth connections to their illustrious subjects in ways that not only allow their images to stand apart but to be revered. Their work has won numerous awards, including Feature Fashion Photography Story from The Society of Publication Designers, Cover of the Year by ASME National Magazine Awards, and the Neal Photography Award. 

Beyond their work in photography, they are currently directors of photography for Black Fashion Fair, an organization dedicated to uplifting black fashion designers and creatives. As directors, they have creatively directed many projects, including the organization’s acclaimed inaugural publication, Black Fashion Fair Volume 0: Seen.  

Above all, the two continue to create images that unabashedly speak directly to the duo’s purpose and the evolving creative world thats being developed as they continue to expand the visual vocabulary of AB+DM.
